Carol's in Cat Spring is 12 miles. Texas Star is for hamburgers or chicken fried steak, whereas the others are all elegant dining, each in a unique and relaxed atmosphere. Cooking at the cottage is pleasant, whether baking Linda's homemade yin-yang cookies or cooking a lobster--the best combination of the cottage and fine dining: Bredwell Farms Gourmet.
Q? What can I do around the cottage?
A: You can walk through the woods in the rain, run through the sand, swing on the dock of the pond, observe all kinds of wildlife, snuggle on the cowhide rug beside the fireplace, watch for shooting stars on the pond dock, hike through the woods at all seasons

A: Within 20 miles: Brenham, Bellville, Sealy, Columbus, Fayetteville, La Grange, Round Top
Q? Are the animals dangerous?
A: Even though they are pets, they are animals foremost. Equines (horses and donkeys) are flight animals and capable of bolting quickly when startled. Do not approach the animals without David or Linda.
